 Party Poker Sucks

Party Poker Sucks! These jokers think they can get away with bloody murder, screwing their players left and right. A few examples:

  • They charge full rake at 6 max tables! No one else does this.
  • They run hand for hand mode in their tournaments starting with 10 players! Slows the game way down and you get about one round of blinds per level.
  • They charge a fee for their rebuy tournaments each time you rebuy. They are either greedy or clueless, I am not sure which.
  • Their software frequently forgets to automatically take you to your table when a tournament you are registered for starts. It can cost you a few levels if you forget.
  • Party Poker charges a $1 fee for their $5 Sit and Go tournaments.  There is no other site that charges a 20% fee on any tournament.
  • Party Poker's lobby updates too slowly.  You can never rely on the information in the lobby, so expect to lose a lot of seats you thought were open.

The issue here is that these issues are correctable, especially for a 5 billion dollar company.  If their customer support could do more than reply with cut-and-paste form responses written in broken English, they might have some inkling that these things do not serve poker players' best interests.  Believe us, we have emailed them multiple times compaining about such isses.  Not only does nothing get done, but responses are rare.

In summary: Damn Party Poker. They are completely unresponsive to the needs of the players. They think that because they are so big they can do what they please and the players will keep on coming. To some degree they are right. Players will keep coming unless sites like us piss in their Cheerios and try to educate the public. Play elsewhere, people!

Here is a great example of why Party Poker Sucks:
