 Full Tilt Poker Sucks

Full Tilt Poker sucks.  Bad.  Their software is passable.  By default it is insanely busy with cartoon characters in each seat, distracting backgrounds, and hard to read cards.  The good news is that you can turn all of this shit off and actually play poker.  Full Tilt also has an air of arrogance about them since they are backed by a bunch of pros.  Slick marketing as it may be, it is still pretty cool to play with people you see on TV.  So if you are the type of person who subscribes to the Enquirer, you will love the idol worship that goes on at Full Tilt.

The big pain in the ass at Full Tilt is the bonus.  They advertise that you will get a 100% match up to $600.  That would be great if you had three years to clear it.  You can actually earn an additional $20 every 600 hands or so, meanwhile you are getting sucked out by the retarded fish that populate the site for a net loss.  The bonus is a joke, but at least they give you a 60 day window to play marathon poker to try to clear it all.

Full Tilt also has strange blind levels.  Random amounts like a $60/$120 level make the tournaments hard to adjust to.  Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, it is just weird. There seems to be no reason for this change from the status quo.

Overall, Full Tilt is one of the few sites that seems to give a shit about their software and how it performs.  If it were not for all of the unnecessary bells and whistles they bundle with it, it would be great.  Customize the software and don't bank on the bonus and Full Tilt Poker will suck less than most poker sites.
